Meet Rizzo. This 3 year old Beauty is coming into rescue because one of her owners and sick and can no longer care for her. She has the normal Boxer energy multiplied with a little extra spunk. She has not been getting a lot of walks or exercise so she is jumpy but we do believe when she gets into a regular routine with exercise and training she will settle down. Rizzo is crate trained, housetrained and knows her basic commands. She has never been to training so her new home will need to take her to a beginner class for training and bonding. She seems to do well with dogs in kennel/class situations and she is currently living with a male dog however at the dog park and often on walks she DOES NOT like dogs she meets so we will looking to be placing Ms. Rizzo as an ONLY DOG. NO EXCEPTIONS. Since she is jumpy teenagers only for this girl, 16+. Also NO CATS for this girl. She is EXTREMELY FOCUSED on a new cat in her current home and it’s not a great situation. Rizzo is not spayed yet but The Boxer Rescue will take care of that once we secure a home for her. If you are interested in this beauty, please fill out an adoption application our website.
