Foster Home Needed

Loki is an 11 month old, sealed brindle boy. He’s full of your typical boxer energy, love, joy, and wiggles. Loki needs a home where someone is home more often than not and he would like to begin training with his new family as soon as possible. He needs work on leash walking for sure, and it will be great for him to start with the basics, and bond with his new owners as he learns how to be the best boxer boy possible. Loki has displayed some food guarding issues in his current home, but only with other dogs, not people. His current owners are vigilant about feeding him away from other dogs. He's not been socialized around strange dogs or many new environments, so his new family will need to take things slow with him and make all his experiences as positive as possible. Loki will be neutered once he settles into his new home.
We would like to see Loki placed with an active person or family; one committed to his training and one with the patience to deal with any speedbumps along the way. He will not thrive in a home where he is left crated all day, as he loves his people with his whole heart. At this time, we will be placing Loki as an only dog. No kitties for him and kids over 10 will be considered.
