Meet our Volunteers

Hi, my name is Delta and I love to do rescue work for TBRI.  You can find me at Petco most weekends luring the customers to my table.  Kids are my very favorite kind of people.  I also love to go check out new homes for all my boxer friends. I am 5 years old and I was my Mom and Dad’s first boxer.  I spoiled them rotten because I am so good.  I have a very long tongue that sticks out most of the time, but it allows me to be an expert kisser.  One of my best tricks is jumping up in front of people without putting my paws against them and giving them a full chin to forehead smooch.  My little boxer sister, Delilah, can be a handful, so my parents taught me to “get the puppy” meaning that I will round her up when she is not paying attention. I have also utilized this skill many times in the training of the new foster dogs that come to stay with me.  They have all been big handsome boys so I am not complaining.  In fact I decided to keep the last one.  His name is Simba.  He’s not quite ready to volunteer yet but he is a Mama’s boy and loves to give the best hugs.

Hi, Hi, Hi, I’m Delilah, the crazy little sister.  I’m a little like Peter Pan, because I never want to grow up, even though I just turned 3.  I can do the kidney bean like no body’s business.  I like to look at you and talk, while I bring my back end all the way around to show you how fast my butt wiggles.  I get so excited to see certain TBRI volunteers that I have been know to pee on the spot.  Oops!  I also like to go check out new homes for dogs that don’t have one.  When we have foster dogs, I am the master at teaching them patience, because they have to have a lot to put up with me.  LOL.  My Mom says that I get away with all that I do because I am so sweet.  When it is snuggle time I like to get right under the covers and I like to always be touching my big sister.
