Meet Harley.  Harley is a 3 year old Brindle male that is coming into the program as his current home does not have enough time to spend with him.  Harley is currently being boarded almost 5 days a week and is extremely excitable and can be a jumper.   He is bit under weight, so his new home will need to put him on a healthy diet and get some meat on his bones.    Harley has not had any formal training and will benefit from a family that is active and willing to work with him on his manners.    He does not currently live with children, so we will not place him in a home with younger children (under 16) due to his high energy.

Harley is a great dog that just needs a good leader to help him become the well mannered boy we know he can be.   He is crate trained but does not like it, so his new home will need to work with him on positive methods for crate training.  Harley has a bit of separation anxiety, so he will be destructive in the home if left unattended. He gets bored very easy and will get into things to entertain himself; this is why he is boarded /doggy day care, 5 days a week.   Harley would benefit from having a canine companion to help with his high energy and separation anxiety.   Harley does get walks, but is currently being walked on a flexi leash, so he would benefit from a no pull front harness to help teach him how to properly walk on leash.     Please check back soon as we secure a foster home for this boy and get to know him a little better.
