Brandi

November 17, 2012 , 2012

Brandi has been with us for almost two months.  She is definitely a part of our family.  It is liked I raised her from a pup.  All my boxers (all eight of them) were very spoiled and so is she I can't help myself.  She loves sleeping in bed and if you are not ready when she is she just hops in herself and covers herself up with her head on a pillow, its something to watch.   Brandi has issues with food, she sees it she wants it, kind of like me so she is good for my diet, I just don't eat around her.  I thank The Boxer Rescue for bringing Brandi to me she has found her furever home.

Brandy is doing great in her new home.    She gets up with me first thing in the morning and lounges in her bed for ˝ hour and then gets up.  She loves having a blanket over her.   She gets two walks a day.  She’s doing great on the walks.   She doesn’t pull and sometimes if she wants to stop walking she just sits down in the middle of the walk.   She curls up on the “dog” couch when I leave for work and I find her there when I get home.  She is a Foodie!    She barks for food and we are working on that.   She met my son and just loved him.  She loves attention and loves kids.  She sees kids in the morning on our walk and her nub just starts wagging away.  She’s a wonderful girl and we just love her.

Meet Brandy!  This gorgeous girl is being surrendered to rescue as her owner's home circumstances have changed and she is being left alone too much during the day. Brandi is a very swseet, loving, affectionate girl  that has lived with other dogs and children, and she just adores children.  She a little on the heavy side, so her new owners will need to work with her to get that "girly" figure back and get her on a healthy diet.  Brandi needs some brushing up on her basic commands, so her new home must be willing to take her to a basic obdience class.  Brandi loves to go for walks and she considers herself a lap dog.  Please check back soon as we secure a foster home for this pretty lady!
