CHAMP here…. It’s been a busy few weeks for me, but I’m finally feeling at “home” with my new family.   My foster mom says I should have been named Shadow because I follow people around wherever they go.  I’m pretty fond of my foster dad and the human boy in this house.  He likes to play with me and I’ve even started to enjoy some dog toys.  When I first came into rescue, my legs were hurting me a lot and my mouth was very sore.  Thankfully, the nice people in this rescue have taken me to see the vet and I’ve gotten some medicine to help me feel more comfortable.

I know I’m an old dog and it would have been easy to just pass over me and perhaps even put me to sleep.  But, I have some life left in me and I’m so thankful that The Boxer Rescue took me in and gave me a chance.  I’m so happy that I have a family who loves me and a roof over my head.  I love that I have a comfy bed to lay down on.  I love that I get to explore the outdoors and enjoy the fresh air.  I love that there are people in the world who will open their hearts and their home to a dog like me.  Thank you, to everyone, who helped get me here.  Thank you for loving me.

Meet Champ!  This handsome boy is 11 year's old  and is coming into the program as his current family no longer has time for him.  He has been around children of all ages his whole life and is great with kids, people, cats, and dogs. He's a big sweetheart that will make someone a wonderful companion.  If you
